That's such a cute picture. He looks like my idea of the perfect doggy. Hope he doesn't miss the jewels too much!
Wait a minute! Why the head scratching thing then? Is that so he doesn't try to lick the phantom jewels? :-O
Yes, the lampshade is in place to keep his eyes and nose away from the sensitive spot. Ha- "phantom jewels". :-) Maybe he doesn't even know they're gone yet!
