Brainstorming

My class earned a party by filling up their marble jar (I drop in a few every time they're being angels!). This is the list of ideas we came up with. I didn't want to lose all of these creative gems for the NEXT time they earn a party, so I simply photographed it. The class really liked the fact that I took a picture of the board.

Sidenote: Extra recess won this time by a large margin.

What are the "heads up-7 up" and the "free read" parties all about?

Free read would be a party where you just lay on the floor and read whatever you want.

Are you telling me that you've never played Heads Up 7-Up? The best indoor recess game ever created?

My girls love Heads Up 7-Up!

Everyday, I ask them what the best part of their day was. They almost always say "Recess!!".

Free read and extra recess sound the best to me.

Lying on the floor reading whatever I want is cool. Spending recess time looking for four-leaf clovers is cool, too.

Can I be in your class?

ahhhh, I remember the days of having to bribe little people to behave. LOL!

Oh, I don't view it as a bribe... just a friendly celebration among people who are really pleased with the little people's behavior, and who hope this behavior continues for the rest of the entire school year..
